I can't put into words how much I loved this hotel! From the moment we walked in, oh my god... It's so beautiful! The black and white theme with beautiful and unique decor... Beautiful tiled floor, stunning harden courtyard with the most decadent stone pool... Heaven! All of the rooms have beautiful balcony or terrace, ours was room 314 overlooking the pool and the wat temple next door. It was magical. The rooms are to die for, no detail is overlooked. The bath, the shower and beautiful twin sinks, rich curtains, the most comfortable bed ever! It was just stunning. The breakfast was great... Good selection of coffee from a machine and it was good standard, buffet of Thai and Western breakfast, it was delicious. The staff were so friendly. We were doing the Mae Hong son loop and they very kindly looked after a bag for us as we were so impressed that we booked the same room for our return a week later! The location is unbeatable. Right by the Tae spa gate in the heart of the old city. The Sunday night market is right outside the hotel! This will be my go to hotel in chiang mai in future! Thank you so much for our wonderful stay!!!!

The Aksara Heritage Hotel is a charming boutique property right in the thick of historic Chiang Mai. Our room, a deluxe double with balcony, was very comfortable. So much so, we might've been tempted to just laze the days away in its inviting embrace. But too much culture and history lay only steps away! The staff were absolutely great - from Dao who welcomed us warmly and showed us the ropes, to the wonderful supervisor who helped us arrange a car and driver for exploring some attractions just outside the city, to the cheerful restaurant crew who helped us start each day well fed and caffeinated. The hotel sits on the road that becomes the Sunday Night Market Street, no taxi or tuk tuk required. When we arrived, we could see the setup was already under way for that evening’s market. So if you're checking in on a Sunday, consider arriving before the street closes in favor of the market. We really enjoyed our stay at the Aksara Heritage.

Room 302. We stayed for a total of four nights. Check-in was fast and efficient and there was a cat to play with whilst we completed check-in. Luggage was taken to our room and the staff showed the in’s and out’s of the room. There was complimentary welcome fruit, minibar and biscuits for coffee in the room. The bed was very comfortable with both options for a soft or firmer pillow. The shower was fantastic with great water pressure. Cleanliness was perfect. The pool was luxurious with adequate seating. The breakfast was alright. It just wasn’t outstanding. Just a breakfast. Enjoyable though. I must note that the shakes on offer at the bar at the pool were fantastic!!! With complimentary popcorn! The staff were all very friendly and the location was perfect too.

Everything was just as it should be for a relaxing holiday. A medium-sized hotel in Lana style- with very good upkeep. Great room, huge-comfy bed with a shower and separate bath. We faced (second floor) the busy street (with the "fantastic" Sunday street market we could not hear it when we went to bed, but great to watch the passing people. The pool is lovely and a good temperature. STAFF- are exceptional. 100 ticks for every staff member (especially Nam-who sadly has left for a bigger hotel) They could not do more for us. We were there for a family birthday spending 10 days (long-stay guests get two free mocktails) HIGHLY Recommend hotel, as long as we can get a room when we go back :-)

This is the best hotel we have ever stayed at. The staff are friendly and efficient. They anticipate your every need and cater for it. They helped arrange our excursion and massages. The buffet breakfast is first class -as was the food in the restaurant. Our room on the ground floor next to the pool was wonderful. Clean, comfortable and with a luxurious bathroom. The salt water pool is gorgeous . There is a temple next door and we could hear the monks chanting from over the wall. Everything about our stay was perfect. We were so sad to leave!
